The scene with Brooks where he hangs himself makes me tear up every time. 😢.

Were suppose to show Hadley and Blutch in jail together and Hadley being welcomed the same like he used to welcome.

One of the best movies ever. This one never gets old. Tim Robbins is my favorite actor and was before this movie. This movie is one of his best. His other classic favorite of mine is Jacobs Ladder. Love the development of the characters in the movie. Each one is his on and adds to the movie. Very good script, very original, clever. I wish he would have won the Oscar for this movie. I also wish Morgan Freeman would have won as well. Another point that was made in this movie that sticks, is how when you have done the same thing for so long, you don't know how to not do it. Point was made and shown several times by different actors. Love this quote: She was beautiful. God I loved her. I just didn't know how to show it.

Sueperb fantastic, perfect screenplay, prefect direction, all actors performed very well, i am glad to see this film and amazed. I seriously only just got the enchilada night joke.

“That kid is long gone and this old man is all thats left” - powerful line. 1:57 perfection 👌🏻XD. Imagine being such a deranged, psychotic monster you beat a man to death just for being scared during his first night in prison. And none of the other guards even has the balls to stop it. Get busy living, or get busy dying.

They approved him because he  didn't say some run of the mill crap that the parole board probably heard dozens of times. He spoke from his heart with genuine emotion and that alone showed the board that he really had changed.

40 years in prison... I don't even want to imagine that. I can't even imagine 40 hours. When Heywood goes from chanting with the other guys to telling fat ass to shut up, knowing what Hadley is going to do. Try Casablanca first... Hahaha. 2:03. Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins give one heck of a performance. A brilliant masterpiece to show how cruel the system was and how they can take away your freedom with flimsy evidence. (It was back in the 30's, it's probably the best justice system they had. And how cruel the prison system was back in the day. 2nd all time favorite move. (1st being Platoon.

The Shawshank Redemption one of my favorite movies. I keep rewinding the Friends part over and over again! Never gets old! 😂 1:49. I like. the friends theme bit. She says to the hotel clerk, Hes not my father,Hes my Lover. 4:14 Actually this is real Morgan son. If you didn't know, the evil prison guard in shawshank redemption is played by Mr krabs from SpongeBob. Portraying the reunion between Andy and Red was absolutely mandatory as, in the context of the film, each man becomes the most important and impactful person in each others' life. Justified. I love how at the end everyone is like hell, I ain't picking his fat ass up. I like how all the other prisoners are upset once the beating starts but if not for their hazing none of this would have happend.

And this baby strums that theme hard as inmate Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) a Shawshank newcomer in 1946, strikes up a 20-year friendship with a lifer named Red (Morgan Freeman. They're both in jail for the Big One: murder.
